Malaysian Glaucoma Society (MGS) is a society representing ophthalmologists with subspecialty training or interest in glaucoma in Malaysia. MGS is a young society established in May 2021 with 50 active members currently. MGS aims to eliminate blindness from glaucoma in the Malaysian population through various activities. This includes raising awareness of the condition through community engagement and patient education, knowledge sharing as well as research and innovation.  MGS serves as an active platform for advocacy work to improve patient's quality of care through close collaboration with health care providers and industry partners.
